November 15th--A very unremarkable day, characterized by lots of waiting around on train platforms.
I had planned to catch the 14:08 train to Berlin, but it was 40 minutes late. After a relatively short (1.5 hour) ride, I was in Berlin. I then had to take the city trains to get to the hostel--however, they were running so infrequently and there were so many people waiting that I had to get the second train. Even then, I accidentallz went to the wrong district...and on and on it goes.
Luckily when I got to the hostel the staff was super welcoming and put me at ease. I had a nice dinner and then scooted off to an internet cafe to do some planning and reserve my next few hostels.
Big plans for Berlin the next few days, though. Stay tuned.
