On the ferry to Bari I met a great Australian named Mike--we have pretty much the same plans for a while, so we'll be traveling together until Barcelona.
We got into Bari at a little after 8:00, then had to take a train south to Taranto to catch a 4 hour bus to Naples. The countryside was beautiful, but traveling by bus is never a great time. However, we managed to spend almost nothing through the day, so we're set to have a huge meal in the birthplace of pizza.
I'll try to put up some pictures I took from the bus later on, or maybe after tomorrow, when we go to Pompei. The plan is to see the city and then go directly to Rome tomorrow night. Life continues to be insane.

My friends Judy and Tom eloped to Greece and married themselves at the temple at Naxos that you photographed. Their only witness was a dog who wandered by.
